Considering a DCT swap for my car. Would prefer that over the 8HP. Any plans to support DCT natively in EMU Pro like DSG are supported?
I am also interested to know if this is planned
No plans for now.
8HP is a priority, and until that is done, we won’t be working on other boxes.
The problem with BMW DCTs is that even BMW abandoned them in favor of 8HP. DCTs are getting more expensive and less available day by day. It’s a pretty volatile market.
Thank you, that does make sense as I know the 8HP is actually a stringer box… The DCT is a direct fit to my V10 so not sure how practical it will be to swop the box to 8HP
That’s dissapointing. They really perform better on track. The 8hp’s dont blip as hard as the dct’s. I feel like the dct would’ve really blown up, even more than the 8hp if the first dct stand alone companies actually got them right.
