hello. i need your help. we have a big project with a b48 engine put on a bmw e92 without electronics made for the track. we want to use ecu masters emu black. but we can’t find any base map. does anyone have one for sale or a tip where we can get help ---

If you want to use direct injection, you need to buy EMU PRO and GDI Driver. EMU Black can’t run Direct Injection. We have a base map for BMW B58 Gen 2 engine. [B58 GEN 2 Base Map](https://www.ecumaster.com/emu-pro-base-maps_b58-engine/) We are currently working on Gen 1. ---

Yes, but it’s not in the timeline at this moment. We have B58 Gen 2 done. We are currently working on B58 Gen 1 and B48 Gen 1. B48 Gen 2 would be sometime after that. ---

Hi, B58 has a mechanical water pump. Nothing to control there. Are you asking about an electric thermostat? There is a dedicated strategy for controlling the thermostat position. ---

No the water pump for turbo and the pump for intake water cooling. ---

So you have a custom setup with additional pumps? You can use “Custom outputs” in the output category to control extra loads. ---

Sorry for the confusion, we had the engine in the dyno cell, and didn’t use those pumps. Those pumps should be PWM, not LIN. B58 Gen 2 has LIN pumps. You should be able to control them with custom outputs and a 100 Hz PWM signal. ---

Bump Have done the wiring and complete install, everything looks good, tried to start the engine with settings from b58 base map gen2, have spark and fuel but is not synced correctly, hpfp readings are not steady. have opened a ticket on suport but I’m still waiting for an answer for a week almost. Does anyone have the correct settings for the first crank tooth, hp pump and injectors, also the gdi settings for them? Thank you
