Has any one solved the problem with the blue leds encoders being far too bright?

I’ve been implementing one manually on some non-Ecumaster hardware, and believe that will need a firmware update from Blink Marine. There are no settings anywhere in the current CAN protocol to adjust the bright of the encoder LEDs separately to the buttons.

Thanks for confirming, I will send a message to Blink Marine somehow, it’s not good and at night the only option might be to turn them off, poor solution though.

I’ve emailed Blink about this. I see their RacePad device has separate brightness settings for the encoder LEDs, rings etc, so hopefully it’s possible for them to implement.

Blink Marine have replied saying it’s not supported currently, but that they’re working on an update that will add a setting to change the encoder LED brightness. They suggested I email again in a couple of weeks for an update, so sounds like it could be available reasonably soon.
