Is there an addendum or something to the tire temp manual that specifies the temperature range for the brake temp sensor, as well as how that is adapted for the 8-bit canbus message? I assume that is the only difference from the tire temp sensor but can’t find that info anywhere.

Hi,
Sorry for the missing documentation.
We will prepare a dedicated manual for the brake temperature camera.

Differences from the tire temperature camera:
Field of view: 60°
Temperature range: 0-950°C
CAN bus base ID: 0x428
CAN bus value multiplier: 4

We’ve updated the manual. There’s a single document covering both the Brake and Tire versions:
[Can Thermal Camera Manual](https://www.ecumaster.com/files/devices/tireTempCam/tireTempCamManual.pdf)

Differences between the versions are highlighted in the text. Let us know if you have any questions!

Is the BaseID of the Brake camera different than that of the Tire camera? It looks like the ADU configuration only has 1 setting for both Tire and Brake camera BaseID, so it seems like the offset for Brake would have to be 8,10,12,14 or something like that.

Yes, the “Base ID” is also different.

I will update my comment, and we will update the manual
