I have a problem with my launch control setting. Activation is via brake paddle and over 80% TPS. As soon as i take off my feet from the brake the brake paddle signal goes off from 100 - 0 in 0,1sec. But the LC is still on for another 0,4seconds. All in all it takes 0,5sec from taking off the feet until the car moves forward. Is there any reason for the delay? Hope to find the answer because actually I have no chance in cashdays events if the starting signal is made with a torch.

Hi,

Thats TCU tune related.

There are some parameters for that..

</div>

Which parameters do you mean? Where might be the time relay? I have no clue which parameter might be responsible for the delay

Its inside the tcu tune. Can do it but need the dsg file

This will happen if your Gearbox launch RPM is set higher than the Emu launch RPM.
Once you release the brake and Emu Launch will disengage and RPMs will start climbing up.

There will be a delay till the RPMs reach the Gearbox LC RPM because that is the minimum RPM where the gearbox would engage the clutch.

Ask me how I know 😀
I was fighting it recently.
The DSG tune was adjusted to have the Launch RPM bellow or same as in the EMU.

the tcu tune is already tuned to 0,1sec LC reaction time

there is no difference whenever I use the 3500Umin or up to 6500Umin in LC strategy. It is always time delayed. Which cut restore rate is recommended? I use 15%. May be this is the probleme

I have EMU Pro and I use 3 degree/rev

15 in your case should be fast enough.

Most probably there is something in the TCU tune.

I ment the cut restore rate!

It is the delay of the “LC activ” shown in the log. It isn’t the gearbox itself. It takes another 0,4sec from deactivation via breakpedal until the LC is deactivated in the ECU.

Can someone explain the cut restore rate?

If the hardcut is 4000rpm for example. The rev jumps up and down from 3500-4000rpms. If I I take off the paddle and hit 3500rpm at the lowest rpm in that rpm range .What does the cut restore rate exactly do?

In emu pro I was able to make it dependent on the brake signal only with a function, most probably this causes the delay in LC deactivation because it waits to see the vehicle moving first before allowing the RPM to raise.

I would raise it with Ecumaster, btw is this V3 or V2 software version ?

</div>

it is V2, because I’m afraid of changing to V3 and try to find the correct setting espacially for the DSG.

What do you mean with “raise it with ecumaster”?

To ask why you cant set there 0 kph and ask how you can do that, but I don’t think v2 would get any updates anymore since v3 is out there.

I would recomend to use V3, its possible there because its driven by a function.

There should be a solution for it in V2! How can I get in contact with the ECUMaster support?

I found the solution: i didn’t use the brakepadal switch anymore. Instead of the brake paddle switch input rsponsible for activation of LC I also use the brake paddle as a normal switch-in-port (CANSW8) for activation. result: no delay!!!
