# ECUMaster Black v2.166B loosing comunication

Hello guys.
I’m having a problem with communication between laptop and ecumaster black. I’m using V2.166B and I loose communication almost every run in dyno. It can happen while idle but it’s mainly at WOT.
I already tried other cable and computer. Also intalled software again and driver.
Did this happened to anyone before?

Is laptop powered from battery ?
Does it happens when you rev the car without the dyno ?
Some brakes and vents can produce a lot of EMI.
Sometimes bad grounding can cause problems with the connection. However the usb port is galvanic separated from the ECU.

Try grounding the car to the dyno, this has solved issues my tuner and I have had.
Ferrite beads on the cable can also help if it doesn’t have any
