# EMU BLACK, cranking Fuel Question

Hello !  
I have noticed that even when i put zero fuel at the cranking map and zero priming, injector output is still on well active. And engine comes alive just fine. EMU black with the latest V2 firmware…  
Have anyone else noticed it ?

That’s normal, if i fully understand what you’re asking. The cranking fuel is an additional correction on top of the base fuel. Your VE table is being used during cranking regardless if the values in cranking and prime fuel are zero.

In V2 cranking fuel table is not an additional correction. It is a base table of injection time when ecu is on cranking state
