Hello everyone what is the status with the e9x can protocol? I notice a couple things that doesn’t work. And for the oil level sensor how do I get it to work on linbus ? ---

Hi, I don’t think we know about things not working in that stream. However, it’s not a stream for E9x or E8x. It’s strictly for E9x. Also, which E8x are you talking about? E85/E86 is BMW Z4, which has a CAN stream similar to E46, but there are crucial differences. E81/87 is BMW Series 1, and from what we know, it’s similar to E9x but also has differences. Please provide details of your setup. What exact chassis are you working with? What year? What things are not working for you? ---

As I said, CAN for E9x is not fully compatible with E81. We will try to get an OEM car and work on stream for that chassis. But there is no guarantee when we can do it. When it comes to E71, I have no idea if it will work or not. I don’t think we ever had a request for that chassis. It’s from the same period as E9x, but there can be differences, as shown before. The LIN bus in PRO has not yet been implemented. How did you confirm the sensor uses the LIN bus? BMW also used another digital protocol called BSD. In which OEM setup was that sensor used (engine+chassis)? ---

Does it work on an e82, 08 135i to be specific. If so what’s information gets transmitted. New to tuning in general and especially to bus, and would like know what functionality I can retain by using an EMU Pro, ---

We don’t have a dedicated stream for E8x because we never directly worked with that chassis. We are not able to tell you what would work and what would not. We can implement it if someone is willing to share CAN information and test for us. Otherwise, we don’t have plans to work on that anytime soon. ---

Sadly i dont know how to get those can messages😥 and my car is a wreck after trying some shit with bmw systems. If you could guide how to get the data i would be willing to try get it😃
