The car was running perfectly before I decided to change the wiring to drive my rev counter from the ECU. According to the EMU classic manual, I have to do this from AUX4 to avoid having to use a pull-up resistor. However it was previously wired using the fuel pump control on AUX4, so I moved the fuel pump control onto AUX2. Now the car won’t start and the fuel pump does not kick on when I turn the key. The strange thing is that the aux 4 was connected to a tiny little electronic 10mm by 10mm with four wires coming out of it - one of which connects to the fuel pump control pin.
Has anyone seen anything like this? The car was originally wired up by the main distributor in the UK.
I’m wondering if I need to add a pull-up resistor to the aux2 output
