Hello,

I need help to understand why my idle control is in ramp down below the idle target:

This are my idle settings:

In Armed still till it reaches target RPM(should it go to rampdown when idle target (850) + ramp down offset (250) so 1100?

thanks and best regards

Bastian

Put the accel pedal on that graph

Put the PID output for the idle control on the graph also.

There is a big mistake on settings . Air flow percent is set the same for two different targets. Note on the y axis is target RPM not RPM

To directly answer your initial question, a log with all of the standard variables and custom variables you’ve setup need to be included

- throttle/accelerator/pps (used to define the activation threshold/ramp start)
- f\_air\_pump\_out
- coolant temperature
- idle ramp down
- any other correction variables in “idle - target - corrections”, there is one field for “custom” in there

the more idle related data you can include in the log, the better

you really need to drill down into each correction and figure out why ramp down is adding up to a negative number, the amazing thing about the EMU pro is every single variable at play is logged so it should be pretty easy for you to get to the bottom of it
