# Lambda to CAN, CAN heater trigger request?

On a future Lambda to CAN firmware update, would it be possible to add a CAN based trigger for turning the heater circuit on? Perhaps even just the standard EMU CAN stream showing engine RPM. I get the voltage threshold can work for most installations, but the car in question is a PHEV hybrid and the DCDC converter can put out 14.7 when the engine is not running.
