Need Help Converting an Original .ORI File to an EMU Classic Project

Hi everyone,

I own a Peugeot 306 GTI, and I recently bought an EMU Classic.

I’m new to ECU mapping and fuel tuning. I didn’t have any issues with the wiring (except for the speedometer, which I’ll fix later).

Here’s my question:

My car originally came with a Magneti Marelli IAW 1AP.10 ECU. Many years ago, when I replaced the chip, I made a backup of the original factory firmware, so I still have the original file. It’s in .ORI format, and I’d like to use it as a starting point by opening it in EMU Client.

The engine isn’t completely stock anymore—it has upgraded pistons, modified valves, and a port & polish head. My plan is to learn and improve the calibration gradually by myself over time.

If I provide the original .ORI file, is there anyone who could convert it into an .emu project so I can use it in EMU Client?

Maybe pull it up in WinOLS and someone has already done the hard work of mapping out everything.
From there, you could copy/paste table data as a baseline?

If you can read the file in any way, I’d copy over the ignition map and do everything else from scratch. The EMU will give you so many more options and variables fueling probably isn’t going to be a direct swap other than the rough shape of the map
