# New BMW B48 base map and B58TU Gen 2 v2.0 – now available in EMU PRO

Two BMW base maps are now available directly through the Base Map Loader – no manual download needed.

**NEW: [BMW B48B20A Gen 1 (v1.0)](https://www.ecumaster.com/emu-pro-base-maps_b48-engine/)**  
**The map controls:**

- GDI injectors and high-pressure fuel pump
- Electronic wastegate and throttle
- VVT solenoids
- Knock control
- Closed-loop oil pressure control
- Alternator control via LIN
- Electronic thermostat with closed-loop temperature target

**UPDATED: [BMW B58TU Gen 2 (v2.0)](https://www.ecumaster.com/emu-pro-base-maps_b58-engine/)**  
**What’s new:**

- Full thermostat control
- Improved high-pressure fuel pump control
- Improved EWG and VVT control
- Improved knock detection

⚠ The B58TU pinout has changed in v2.0. If your car is wired for an earlier version, check the new Inputs and Outputs assignment before loading.

**Good to know:**

- Both are engine-only maps – vehicle components (low-pressure fuel pump, fans, starter, etc.) must be configured separately.
- Valvetronic is not supported – intake valve lift must be locked at maximum opening.

As always, base maps are a starting point – careful tuning is still required, and all assigned inputs/outputs must match your wiring before loading the map to your ECU.
