Hello,
I don’t find any reason for my problem.
I converted my black to v3 and restored the factory settings, plugged in the minimum number of pins.
I communicate well with the EMU but it beeps constantly, with the internal buzzer. I have the same problem if I revert to version 2. The beeping only stops during the flash from v2 to v3, or v3 to v2.
It’s no longer under warranty, but I can open it if necessary.
Where can my problem come from?
Thank you
Ecu
Check ecu Ground and both 12V supply
The positive terminal is at 12.5V (B13 + G18) and the ground (B27, G17, G24) is connected to the negative terminal of the regulated power supply.
I can communicate successfully with the EMU (using headphones
).
Did you connect B28 (ECU ground) ?
No, it’s not mentioned in the manual. The beep occurs when I connect the ignition (G18).
If only B13, B27, G17, and G24 are connected, I don’t get any sound, but communication isn’t possible either (which makes sense).
Thanks Jadzwin, I’ll try it on Friday.
Here is a sample wiring diagram for 4 cylinder engine:
I based this on the minimum configuration; of course, in the car, all the pins will be connected.

What do you connect g18 to?
Are you Bench testing?
When I want to turn on the EMU, at +12v, the same as the power supply. Without G18, I don’t have a beep, but I don’t have communication.
Yes, it’s outside the vehicle, with nothing else.
B28 is required. What is the name of the document you have presented ? It is not correct and we need to update it.
We have already corrected the document. Thank you for reporting this.
Due to minor differences between EMU Black hardware revisions, some devices worked correctly in a minimal configuration without the B28 pin connected. The manual now clearly states that the B28 pin must be connected.
great.
I tested it now, everything is good, no more beeps with the right soil.
Thx
