# PPS has dead zone (Idle off is pps over)

Hey, what would be proper way to fix this, when pushing pedal till 9.5% it does nothing, because i set in idle (idle off is pps over 9.5%) how to deal with it its annoying to drive that pedal has dead zone, but if i lover (pps over %) then i will have a rpm dip.

there must be the reason for rpm drop. the solution is set up all to not have a rpm dip 🙂  
Sebd your log with the rpm dip and configuration

may be you didn’t understood my annoying problem.

Here you can see pps has 1-9% dead zone how to remove that dead zone but keep idle happy.

I understand.  
Typically you should set Idle on when pps below 2 and Off below 3.  
Looking at your log I would set Actuator / Parameters /DBW blend point to 5.5-6%.

Try those settings and eventually send the log if it will not work for you

I make the characteristic DBW curve first cell near the desired value… So 0% is not 0%
