# Sync problem suzuki m15a engine

**Subject: Sync delay on startup - Suzuki Jimny M15A VVT (Trigger 36-2-2-2) - ECU Master Black**

Hello, I am new to the tuning scene and I would appreciate some guidance regarding a recent engine swap.

I have swapped an M13A VVT with an M15A VVT in a Suzuki Jimny. I am running an **ECU Master Black** in parallel with the OEM ECU. While the car runs great once started, I am experiencing a significant delay during cranking before the engine fires up.

It seems like the ECU takes too long to synchronize. I have already tried enabling ‘Wasted Spark’ during start-up to speed things up, but it didn’t help. The engine uses the stock Suzuki **36-2-2-2** trigger pattern.

Are there any specific trigger settings or “First Trigger Tooth” adjustments for this pattern in EMU Black to achieve a faster sync? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
