I have just purchased an EMU Pro 8, so looking forward to getting it installed and tested soon. The attached diagram is very useful, however I have some thoughts. Is there an dedicated inputs for ignition/engine start button, output to a starter motor relay. I have added an Engine oil temp sensor to Analog 11 (C14) and turbo speed to Digital 6 (A16), and EGT to Prec Analog 1 (C31). I will also add a ATM pressure senor and 4 wheel speed sensors. Does this sound correct? Would it be possible to update the wiring diagram to be a ‘fully rich’ diagram, and then a user could just cross off, what they don’t require… Thanks for the support, looking forward to diving into the EMU Pro 8. ---

There are only a few dedicated pins in the PRO. MAP sensor must be at Analog 1. The crankshaft position sensor must be at Digital 1. The turbo speed sensor must be at Digital 5-6. WBO sensor heater must be at Auxiliary output 1-4. Thermocouples must be at Precision analogs. Everything else is configurable through the software. To be sure what your actual options are, use the software. Going to the strategy you want and trying to assign the output will show you a list of viable options. There are too many possible scenarios for a single wiring diagram. I think it’s better to use the software’s built-in help and create dedicated diagrams for all sensors, outputs, and strategies. ---

Lyndon, Thank you for your kind words. As Marek mentioned, almost all inputs can be assigned by the user to sensors, buttons, or strategies. The software’s flexibility allows for a wide range of customizations without being restricted by dedicated inputs. Of course, there are a few exceptions, but they are minimal. We do plan to update the wiring diagram in the future, though I am unable to provide a specific timeline for this update. Best regards, Artur ---
