A3 8p vr6 low voltage

Hello everyone, I have a question. I have a 2009 Audi A3 vr6. I installed the ecumaster Black plug and Play,

After start I have 12.9 volt

Since the generator is running on Lin with the original control unit, Ecumaster only has Canbus, I cannot control it via the ecu master, Is there any solution for this?

The A3 8P Generator does not have LIN and you can not control it.

The alternator on a 2009 Audi A3 with a VR6 engine is controlled via a digital, single-wire LIN-bus. The voltage regulator is a “smart alternator” component and does not operate autonomously like older traditional systems.

  1. ECU Interaction: The Gateway shares this data with the Engine Control Unit (ECU). The ECU evaluates the current mechanical load on the engine and transmits commands over the LIN-bus to the alternator, specifying the exact voltage output needed at that moment (ranging from ~12.2V for fuel economy up to 15V+ for rapid charging

Pretty sure if you check the wiring diagrams it’s not lin bus
