I see there is the option to control Fiesta MK7 Windshield wiper motor through LIN could you give more details about which exact car used that motor? I am trying to source it but the one I bought didn’t support LIN, any chance you can make one of the VAG group LIN controlled windshield wiper motors have native support?
The analysed Ford wipers had a part number H1BB-17504-AD.
We can add VAG wipers support too, but I can’t say when it would be ready.
If you’re looking for custom messaging there are a few cheap development boards out there to go from CAN to Lin using simple Arduino style programming.
This is a problem with the Fiest naming scheme, which is not consistent around the world.
It’s either MK7 or MK8, depending on the country.
To be specific, it’s model code B479 from the year 2017 onward.
