Touch to flash hold to latch turn signals

evening. all im really new to all this so apologies if my terminology is wrong.

ive just started to play with the PMU setup. is it possible to have ‘one touch’ turn signals?

im using momentary switched low buttons on the wheel. to control the left and right ‘blinker’s’ and a can keypad button for the hazard.

at the moment they work. first press activates the blinker. 2nd press cancels it.

id like to set it up so ‘one touch’ , gives 3 flashes . and holding the button for 0.5 sec would ‘latch’ with one touch to cancel . for left and right. the hazards can stay on the latching keypad button.

is that possible. im not even sure where to start with this one.

Yes, make a timer function for tap and a switch or hold function for long press. Similar way to how we do them. Then we give a hold both for hazard latch.

can you give me an example of the prompts? as I cant see time as an option in the new f_function tab ? or do i need to use an ‘r_timer’ ?
