it is possible to add values to the Axis of a table without using the wizard by editing the XML.
This is quite practical for areas that you want to have a higher resolution. Is this supported or can it lead to undesirable effects?

Yes…rightclick (either in the axis or in the table)…then there is an option like add row/column
