Additional Memory

Is there any way to add additional memory? Can the USB drive be used to also store additional settings? Maybe Tracks can be stored on USB to build unlimited library without worrying about size?

Unfortunately, this is not possible at the moment.

I would also love more, I max out the graphic’s memory all the time.
Not sure when/if there’s a hardware re-fresh in the pipeline, but even if its like only the AS version has way larger memory that would be fine for the fringe case of users that want more

yeah, more memory and better CPU with a new hardware revision would be nice, as some users reach the function/enum/memory limits quite quickly.

You can do a LOT with ADU, but the general functions eat up a lot of CPU time, and running everything at 500Hz is not very efficient on a 50Hz display with mostly 10-100Hz inputs…

If it would only be that simple

To have more memory, we need a new CPU.
A new CPU means a new architecture and new code base.

That is like 2 years until product release.

well, if there isn’t a better CPU with the same arch, then yes it would mean a new product, not just a new revision :frowning:
based on what you said, there is nothing in development currently, so this will not change for years.

You have to consider it from the perspective of the company.

We would be competing with ourselves since nothing on the market has similar capabilities in that price range. The competition has to step up their game to motivate us

A more advanced display would be more expensive. There is very low demand for a product like that.

We have selected a new generation of CPUs but are currently focused on direct injection development. We want to provide the best direct injection solution on the market in terms of price, capabilities, and support and expand that niche.
