Classic or Black BUT more around what I COULD use black for (E30 M42 NA)

I am very keen on the BMW M42B18 ECU Plug & Play option… But I really don’t know if I should go for the Classic or the Black?

Ultimately, my E30 318is is a street car, that will do a few track days.
Initially, I will just plug in (with hopefully a good base stock map that comes with ECU or easy to track down?) Will this eliminate the old (ugly) MAF?

Early next year I will add the Racehead Engineering ITB kit (Will I need to custom tune for this immediately or is there ITB base maps available to get me through for a while?)

Longer term I will likely do cams/tune. I spoke to Racehead Engineering and they essentially said ‘Classic is perfectly fine unless you want more advanced functionality, using Canbus etc.’ But what extra functions would I want to take advantage of, with the black?

I would love to modernise this car with ABS/Traction (probably with standalone MK60 standalone is easiest though)/Cruise control/power windows… and also I have a head unit with can-bus display capability. Is this sort of stuff where the Black plays a part? What other reasons would there be? Or if I essentially stick to the initial bits and pieces is the Classic really all I need?

Get the black.
Sounds like you will use all the added functionality soon.
Better to have the options to expand, rather than have to buy new later.
