Displaying Brake Bias

I have brake pressure sensors on both front and rear brake lines, I was thinking I could display the brake bias on the ADU using the data from the sensors. Has anyone done this? Whats the best way to go about it?

wait couple of days there will be ready settings for it in new software .

Have you got any information you can share on what we can expect?

there will be new paned dedicated brake bias and you will need to select brake pressure front and rear pressure channel and bias will be calculated… this update will be this week I believe

Hi There, I’ve installed 104.1 but I can’t see the option for brake bias. Did it get included in this release?

not yet but very soon

We need a few more days to validate the new experimental release, so we are planning to release it at the beginning of next week.

Hi!

Brake Bias is now available in ADU 105.0-exp
New ADU software version 105.0-exp

Setup is in “Configuration” panel just to be clear

This works perfectly! Exactly what I wanted. Good work thanks to all at ecumaster for this feature.

We previously developed this using about 5-6 different numbers and functions., so this allowed us to remove all those variable/names. I just updated and compared and found that it is identical to what we previously had with one exception.

Our code would go to 0 when no pressure was applied, while the ECUmaster holds some number after pressure is released. What does this value equate to?

Additionally we found that this equation translates to REAR Bias. IE. WHILE ON BRAKES 100=0 Rear Bias, 0=100 Rear Bias. This was tested while bleading a “Dry” brake system.

“Industry standard” about brake bias is displayn Front brake bias so 100 is 0 rear brake bias…
Is you swap channers in configuration you will have rear bias.
Minimum pressire in configuration is used for setting bias number to 0 when brake is not applied
