New ADU software version 105.0-exp

We’re happy to announce the release of the new experimental ADU software version 105.0-exp! This update brings multiple requested features.

New features:

  • “Flying start” option to the Hill Climb mode, allowing the use of Hill Climb mode without needing to stop at the start line to define the track and start timing the lap.
  • “Button defined track delete” button - Pressing this button deletes the currently button defined track from the device’s memory. Check the changelog for more details.
  • Added the option to choose the data source from the IMU, which will be used to calculate the G-forces for the “G-force” indicator and the “adu.latG” and “adu.longG” channels.
  • Automatic brake bias calculation along with a new channel, ‘brake.bias,’ measured in [%].
  • Support for the new “6x1 Ecumaster” keyboard
  • Added channels “adu.track.predictiveLapTime” and “adu.track.lastLapTime” measured in [s].

We’ve also updated our guide to help you set up the expanded Hill Climb features: How_to_Configure_the_Hill_Climb_in_ADU.pdf (2.0 MB)

What happens when there is no track selected, and you press the button for the clear current track data?

What does the “none” color do for pit indicator?
Thanks.

Version 105.1 includes a minor fix for incorrect track recognition that occurred when resetting current track data via the button while the track was undefined.

If you have selected “Reset current track data” and you press the button, nothing will happen—all stored best lap times will still remain in the device memory.

LEDs with the color ‘none’ will be disabled.
