I’m Andreas and I’m from Germany. My best friend recently passed away and left me a vehicle that was very valuable to him. An Opel Kadett E with a 16V engine. He recently installed a single throttle valve injection system and an Ecumaster EMU Classic control unit.
The control unit was installed and tuned by a local tuner. Unfortunately, the control unit is broken, but I would like to download the data from the control unit and transfer it to a new EMU Classic, so to speak.
I have connected the power supply pins to a 13.6 volt power supply and connected a USB cable to my laptop. I have also downloaded the software from Ecumaster. Unfortunately I can’t get a connection. The device does not appear as connected in the software.
That’s why I’m asking the community how I could do better, or where my error lies. Or do you have any ideas on how I could manage a transfer, or how I can at least have a look at the settings?
