Hi I’m struggling to get a stable fuel tank level on my mk2 golf.
It reads the right level of fuel when stationary
but when driving it’s all over the place. I’ve used all the filters in the configuration page but makes little difference.
I’m currently using the default M1 pulldown.
Thanks in advance
what channel are you using to display fuel level on the gauge?
ecu.fuellevel or a_fuel_tank_level

Hi, the original vw tank sender is wired to the ADU, A_fuel_tank_level

you need to use this channel in fuel tank level strategy and output will be ecu.fuel level which is filtered fuel level.

I’m not sure what you mean? See the first few pictures I uploaded to show my settings.

I think I know what you mean now.
The gauge that I’m displaying on the ADU is using the raw fuel level channel and not the filtered ecu.fuel level channel?

Yes .
So use your current channel as source on window above. And filtered ecu.fuellevel on the display

I now have a stable fuel display
The thing that confused me was assigning the channel ecu.fuel level when the signal was connected via the ADU.
Maybe the channel should be called ADU.fuel level to stop any future confusion?
