how to wire rx8 alternator to ecumaster black

point us to it and we can start from there.
i had this issue with a rx8 with another ecu. alternator is controlled by cars ecu/pcm.
tried a pwm output to black/red stripe and 12v switched to white/green and swapped as per suggestions from the rx8 guys. frequency of 150hz worked intermittently. changed 3 different alternators and couldnt come right. eventually changed to a Mazda MX6 alternator that is normal 12v switched and excite wire.

if you do change to standalone then keep the factory unit operational by adding an additional crank trigger sensor or and additional trigger wheel and sensor. Not many ecus cater or run the rotary 36-2-2-2 trigger wheel properly. thinks its used by Subaru if not mistaken. i have the factory trigger wheel running tothe factory ecu and using the rotary CAS for the standalone ecu. Factory wheel keeps the dash and abs working aswell as alternator. although i beleive the CAN protocal for the dash is covered by Ecumaster.
other tricky item that can give issues is the electric power steering.
