I’m trying to use the ignition custom table, which I’ve converted to a 3D table referenced by transmission-requested ignition cut %. I can see in the log that the request comes in, and I can see in the log that the table is referenced. But no ignition cut takes place. What am I missing?

Ignition source changes to overrun – is this table supposed to contain positive numbers, and the ECU does the subtraction?
UPDATE: the help uses the “plus” operator, so negative values seem right. And, I can see that the table output has the right value. But the ECU ignores it, and goes into Overrun state instead adding the negative timing requested.
Ah ha! This is because the driver had changed the accelerator position – he had reached top speed, and so was transitioning to cruising speed. The transmission controller then made a gear shift into a higher gear, requesting a large cut. But since the throttle was at 0, and the engine was in Overrun mode, that cut was ignored. I look at other more representative gear shifts, and the cuts are definitely happening on those.
