If you maximize any window you cannot minimize it and it breaks the hide unhide function of the parameter pane. It also only maximizes by double clicking on the top of the window not from the actual button.

Happens to me too. It also hides some desktops.
Press Tab button to exit the full screen window.
It is temporary solution.
