Need to find a (blank) base map

Hello ECU Community,

This my first post, so I apologize in advance if this info is already been touched on.

I have my ECU Master Black and custom Boomslang Parallel harness “installed” but not yet plugged into the vehicle harness.

I am ready but need a blank base map as no base maps are available for my application, at least as far as I can tell. (2004 Accord J30A4 V6 with BAYA auto trans)

Until recently there was nothing to tune an automatic equipped Honda/Acura, it had to be a six speed manual tranny because Honda used the ECM as the PCM also, so any tuning of the engine screwed with the transmission.

The Boomslang cable will allow me to run the ECU Master Black ecm along (parallel) with the factory computer. The Black controls engine functions and the oem computer still controls the tranny and other vehicle nessesitys via CAN

Surprisingly, I see no manual trans V6 Honda/Acura base maps either, which is what I figured I would have to start with, but cannot find, so I looked for a blank map, but could not find one…

I have acquired manual j motor platform maps from a competitor ecm company and was preparing to do the tedious loading of the cells with info from the other companys map,

So I am requesting assistance in finding and downloading a blank map.

What is ur definition of a blank map?

U can just open the client and then load no project…then everytjing is on default.

Here is a screenshot of my open software

So, this is a map? Or can be a map?

If so, first question, how do get the left hand column to not be covered by they grey overlay?

its looks like some improvments/changes were made since I first downloaded the program

Hover over the border of the window and then u can move the window that it is not overlaying.

Then u can doubleclick on the different sections and the specific maps open.

I tried for 1/2hr to move the overlay but could not, here is a closeup of the issue.

As you can see the left column is covered and I cannot see the left pane items.

Tools > Configuration > Parameters panel size

I’d update the client to the latest version if you haven’t already.

Yes, thank you, seems I was three updates back, lol

Works fine now with the current version.
