New experimental ADU software version 104.0-exp

Dear Ecumaster Community,

We’re excited to announce the release of the new experimental ADU software version 104.0-exp!

New features:

- Enhanced Distance Tracking: Gain precise control over distance tracking with new buttons for freezing and unfreezing the adu.distanceMeters channel. This is particularly valuable for rally applications where precise stage distance management is crucial.
- New “adu.page” Channel: Stay informed on the current page displayed on your ADU with the addition of the adu.page channel.
- Virtual Fuel Tank Modes: Optimize fuel management strategies with the introduction of Stage and Road modes for the Virtual Fuel Tank. This allows you to tailor fuel calculations to the specific demands of each racing scenario.
- Dynamic Fuel Tank Size: The Virtual Fuel Tank Size can now be defined dynamically based on a user-defined channel, offering greater flexibility in fuel calculations.

With the expanded Virtual Fuel Tank features, we’ve prepared a step-by-step guide to help you set it up: How_to_Use_Virtual_Fuel_Tank_in_ADU.pdf (2.0 MB)

We’ve got something new for the circuit racers as well! We’ve added a selection of pre-defined USA tracks to the ADU, including:

  • Buttonwillow
  • Willow Springs
  • Thunderhill
  • Chuckwalla
  • Thermal Club
  • High Plains Raceway
  • Pueblo Motorsports Park
  • Arizona Motorsports Park
  • APEX Motor Club

Download ADU software version 104.0-exp today and experience the benefits of these exciting new features!

good update, now that VFT is configurable with functions. (IMHO the custom channel should set the fuel added, and not the fueal added+fuel left together, but both solutions have it’s pros and cons)

BTW I have similiar idea for custom tracks.

There is currently a basic feature, which is missing from ADU.
Support for tracks with clockwise and counter clockwise configurations.

If a user track could be toggled on/off with a function, this could solve this issue with a workaround. As 1 button could toggle between the two tracks.

Similiar idea about the rev LEDs. Last year you added the pitlimiter function, which is GREAT.
This could be expanded with additional channels, which could trigger the top led, maybe even have priority between them (like in fanatec software).
currently I use it for traction control intervention.

I know, that this could be solved with additional functions, but a proper solution with additional configuration possibilities is always better.

ps: what happens if pit limiter is active, and the revLED should show the rpm color? Which one takes priority?

PIT Limiter (PIT Indicator) has priority.
