Hey all,
1st of all, hello to everyone. I’m fresh ECU Master Classic user and newbie also on this forum. I’m based in Poland.
I installed ECU on Peugeot 206 S16 (EW10J4 engine). I did not remove original ecu entirerly - I just redirected neccessary pins from original ecu to ECU master.
I did my 1st test and cranked the engine but nothing happened. I removed the coil from engine, put 1 spark plug on 1st cylinder and put it on nice egine ground. Then started crank engine once again and there is no spark at all.
ECU sees my RPM, its synchronized and correctly recognize cranking status.
From the logs during cranking I assume the ECU is trying to control the coil in correct way (execute sparks count is raising during cranking, dwell time changes accordingly to the table and voltages etc.)
I have Magneti Marelli 060717104012 coil. I guess its active (smart) coil thus I set such parameters in the ECU.
The coil has 3 pins: cylinders 1&4, cylinders 2&3 and +12 v (while cranking). Its grounded by its structure/housing. 2 pins for cylinders spark control were of course pined to the ECU master. +12 v (during cranking) I left in the original ecu. I changed the pins while cranking the engine and everything seems to be also ok (there is +12 v while cranking) and also some there are some volts movement on the pins controling the cylinders (I tested them with a regular multimeter but still it clearly shows some voltage while cranking while just at ignition there is 0 v) so I to me it seems that the ECU is trying to control the coil in normal way?
I attached screenshot with some basic ignition parameters. Will be grateful for any help with this. As said, Im newbie here, I stucked and its hard to move further
