Old Tacometer Connect to ECU

I bought some resisters on amazon and I tried it today. The Tach works now but the rpm’s are much higher. When I took the picture it was idling around 1,000 rpm. Would a different ohm resister make a difference? Thanks Tony

Change the multiplier in the ECU software first, before making wiring changes

I was able to figure it out by loading the software from emumasters. The support from here is what made it happen. Much appreciated to all who helped. The resistor worked and the multiplier from 4 to 2 did the trick. Tony
