I understand almost everyone will only need one wiper module but I’m working on a car with pop up headlights and the control strategy is exactly the same as a wiper would be. Motor with a park switch and requires a braking circuit. Is there a technical limitation in the hardware or can a software update potentially allow multiple “wiper modules”?
So they don’t require the direction change for the motor?
There is a hardware limitation.
Only the output O8 has a low-side switch used for motor braking.
You need an H-bridge module to control those motors.
The ECUMaster dual H-bridge module seems suitable to control both pop up headlights, but the logic is missing, right? Could I request an implementation of a variation of the wiper module for pop up headlights using the dual H-bridge?
I also have pop up headlights btw, so I’m requesting this for my RX7 to eliminate the motor relays.
