I have a very big project and i have managed to work through all my issues so far, but this one has me confused, i have wired my Bosch LSU 4.9 as per the pinout, i previously had it mirrored somehow and it would never read lamda valid as yes, but since i re pinned it, i now get lamda valid after its warmed up, im not sure at this point if i do have it wired up wrong or a bad sensor, hope some of you gurus could offer some guidance. Do these voltages/ readings seem right or is there something blatantly obvious im missing?
The sensor’s job is to provide the information to the ECU. If it is wired correctly (appears it is) then your VE table will dictate what it is reading. 1.04 lambda corresponds to the ~15.4afr that is reading. If you have it up and running and idling, you can let it warm up completely and then add fuel (2-5% change) to the VE table cell it’s idling in and note if there is a change to the reading or not.
Apologies for the late response, i appreciate your reply, that was as i thought but thanks for explaining it, i belive it may be an O2 sensor at fault as i have rewired it a few times to be sure and its definitely running very rich but reads 1 to 1.04. Got one on the way tomorrow and a pre wired plug connector just to rule out any potential wiring issues on my part of if i have messed up the pins on the plug connector. Hopefully will have a working wbo tomorrow.
Thanks again for responding!
Please do report back your findings. Good luck.
Unfortunatly still no luck, I have Purchased and fitted a new bosch lsu 4.9 also calibrated it + a pre wired plug connector for the lsu 4.9 just to rule out any potential issues on my part with my loom I made dispite the contunity reading great and confirming its pinned correctly on my loom, i tried swapping a couple pins going to the older O2 sensors just in hope something would work, but still no luck.
I have attempted to attatch the log but I cant as im new.
I will try and get hold of a 150k resistor and wire that in (I havent as of yet as i saw in one of the other topics someone raised it was said that it affects inconsitency’s, but mines completely inop)
So i have wired in the 150k ohms resistor to pin B26 on one end and wired into the wire for Pin 6 Black VS, still inop
I cant attatch pictures still but please see little table I have made up, the heater is swapped from the emu black pinout (was the other way on my harness, i wired in the new pre wired harness correctly as far as colours are concerned but have realised its inverted on the plug end) i can switch it but cant see how that would not read anything as it apears to be getting up to temp plus with the other harness still didnt work.
Hoping theres something ive missed but as far as i can tell i have tried it all now.

Try swapping 3 and 4?
I did and unfortunately that disnt work, i couldnt seem to get it to work at all, i purchased lamda to can module and it now reads, not sure what the fix was, possibly a fault within the module.
