What is the difference between GPS V1 and V2?

The GPStoCAN V2 replaced the previous GPS V1 module.

Version 2 of the GPS module doesn’t use IMU fusion to achieve a high position update rate. IMU fusion is a system that combines satellite data and IMU raw data to get more frequent position updates compared to using those systems alone.

The drawbacks of the IMU fusion are susceptibility to high-vibration environments and not suitable for motorcycles with high roll/pitch angle changes. The next generation of the module eliminates those drawbacks while simultaneously increasing the position update rate.
