Am I missing something or is it not possible to assign free ignition outputs as Custom Outputs?

What would you like to use the ignition outputs for?
Did you run out of other output types?
Ignition outputs don’t have a current measurement or short circuit protection. Currently, it’s pretty safe since the ignition output can only be turned on for a few milliseconds at a time.
Allowing the user to have custom control means the output can be destroyed with wrong connections or short circuits.
Another limitation is the coil type selection. Selecting the active/passive coil type sets all ignition outputs to that coil type. If you use active coils, the outputs can only provide a low current signal. You won’t be able to power any loads with them.
I’m planning to use IGN-1A Coils(active)
I wanted to use the free IGN outputs to control solenoids which will draw about 0,5 Amps.
But if I understand you right, this is not supported.
