Bluetooth Adapter EMU Black

Im looking at getting the Bluetooth adapter for my emu black so I can run gauges on my bluetooth/android double din. Looking for some clarification before deciding to go that route rather that the BTI can gauge from them. It says in the description that " The Android app allows the customer to customize the style and size of the gauges, as well as deciding which parameters to display."

What app are we talking about here? Realdash? Anyone gone this route before that can guide me? I’m assuming I download whatever app, then connect the BT module to the BT on the in dash and its good to go? Of course turning on the CAN outputs on the ecu. I want to go this route rather than having a bunch of gauges, and Im not sure how well my 34 year old cluster works. Thanks

I got the EDL-1 and connected that to my EMU Black.
With Realdash connected to the EDL it was quite simple.
You had to select the device, and what protecol, then I immediately got the datastream on my phone. Didn’t play with it too much since I was more busy with getting everything else sorted for the 1st start.

it’s quite simple though.

I previously used a Canchecked gauge to display my information, and have recently purchased an ADU7

Hope this helps
