Boost control e-wastegate Turbosmart

Hi

Is there a calibration menu when I want the pro to control a Turbosmart E-Wastegate, a menu like when DBW is to be calibrated. I can’t seem to find one.My problem is that it doesn’t control the gate now, it can open the gate 86% of the time when the engine is started and then it stays there.

there’s no automated calibration wizard for the egate unfortunately with the emu pro software. that would be nice though, I’ve asked ecumaster a few times about that. did you calibrate the gate pos sensor? set your mechanical valve position correctly? from my understanding for sync outputs to work it has to be 1+2 or 3+4. unless that has changed. are you using two hbridges for control?

in the log you can clearly see the gate is shorted. for sync outputs you need to use 1+2 or 3+4 together. you also need to have the amperage set identical. (usually the pin max of 8.6 is preferred) your pid values for the gate are also not calibrated correctly. you need to test the output of the gate and call targets to make sure you get the pids operating correctly. the process is involved to get these calibrated correctly.

I’m using a black box to control the turbo smart e gate and then communicating the Pro with that via CAN, are you doing the same? Or directly controlling it via the Pro with just a solid state relay?
