Electronic Wastegate setup Issues

Hi I am working on setting up an electronic wastegate valve used in VW 2.0 Turbo engines in my engine build, I have succesfully being able to control its position and played with dyno runs on different positions and with a closed loop with respect to manifold presure I have been able to get it to behave somehow similar to how I want it to behave to control boost all this by using the custom DC motro strategy and a rotary switch,

On this example it did what I wanted it to do and opened the valve once 75KPA of boost have been reached, I know his way of controling it is sub optimal and I want to control it with the boost control strategy but eveytime I try on that one it just very erratically goes from 12% waste gate position to 100% waste gate position, I have no idea of what causes the erratic behaviour I am pretty sure it is something in the setup I am misunderstanding so I wanted to see if somebody could point me in the right direction, this is a screenshot for the log in which I was able to get it to behave like I want it using custom DC strategy and a log file for the one with erratic wastegate behavior

Screenshot for my Boost strategy settings, I am assuming this first table is supposed to be a wastegate target position based on what I understood from the help section, but the wastegate just does not follow it when I use the boost control startegy, also not sure I understand what is required on the duty cycle table, Any explanation on how this should be correctly done would be really appreciated, Thanks

You are commanding more boost than you are allowing on the DC control. 100% tps shows 200kpa, max for control shows 180 kpa. If you are hitting this, boost DC would be turning off. Can you post the cal file and a log?

The log is attached in the first message all the way at the bottom, which one is the calibration file?

Your tune file for the emu pro

I will upload it when I am back home in a few hours Thanks

Your boost control shows a state of -7 Below pressure min - 100% control. You also show no boost being built ever. TPS is about 35% max.

Why would the waste gate valve try to open to 100% if there is no boost? Not sure which setting I have wrong for it to do that

When you run electronic and use it as a custom motor your feedforwards for the motor and the boost control must work in the same direction. Meaning 100% would be full boost wanted and 0% would be no boost wanted. It sounds like you may have one of the controls inverted.

Ok yeah that makes sense, I think the wastegate position sensor wants to be inverted, I will recalibrate and try, getting more and more familiar with the log files, now that I am looking at the Boost state everything makes more sense, I noticed there are some states where there are always two options, it is either 0% control or 0% DC, how do you configure it to always react to the 0% DC instead of the 0% control? Thanks for your answers btw
