Hi, When working on a configuration offline. If you have a function (eg a timer that can be reset with a background that changes colour when reset) that is operated via an input (eg digital button input), if you simulate that button input should the software follow through with the full functionality on the preview screen. Hope that makes sense.
Not sure i explained that properly but basically will the attached work and should simulating the digital inputs show it working in the preview?

Hi,
The channel simulator requires the device to be connected to the PC via a CAN bus interface. All calculations are processed on the ADU device, not in the client, so it won’t work offline.
Also, I just realized that not all channels are simulated at the moment—you cannot simulate, for example, digital/analog inputs and numbers. This is obviously a bug, so we need to fix it in a future release.
