is it possible to use PWM output to drive a Davis Craig water pump using coolant temp base table?

I’ve tried the same and it kills the PMU outputs. Had two outputs powering the pump and after 15 minutes or so it overheated and shutdown. But yes it all works very nicely until the shutdown using a table. Moving to a Pierberg pump instead which has a separate pwm signal input instead.
