DBW Idle settings emu black

Hi having a few problems with my DBW on idle. Tick over is fine and I’ve tuned the tick over

with everything off but i find that the dbw DC isn’t what I’ve set it too in the idle chart. Then if i rev it up when it returns to idle it drops then picks it self back its like the pid is on and adds to it or has a compensation but can’t find anything that’s adding to it

fine tuning IDLE on DBW - it is pain.but use trial and error method, plus some methodics, and you can achieve succes.

i used thease

and recieve good working smooth idle, even on reverse gear in mt transmission….. but all corrups, afteer change camshaft and need new iterationS to make things work great again

Firstly, you are not using a virtual target, which was an improvement over rising RPM on activation.

Idle target ref is wrong, needs to go higher for higher idle target.

Ignition idle control is disabled…

many errors..

not bad how-to

asked thease question to chatGPT  and received wery good recomendations to tune rock-steady IDLE for gsc s1 cams, DBW and light flyweel..
in the end - i turn off DWB PID control, as it not need any more

Do u mean airflow control of idle?…cause DBW without PID position control cant work.

yes. ign control only work best

if you want dbw idle control - set very low
p: 0.05–0.2 to smooth movement
i: 0.001–0.01 to slow down oscillation when stabilize
D = 0 or very low to clamp oscillation, if not controlled by PI
deadband > ign control diapasone
update interval - i try 50
integral limit ±1
max? min feedback ±5%
dealy to activate = 100+

remember good name of thease control = it is big gun. it is slow and very inaccurate.
if it start to work, it is mean what you ign map incorrect, ign control incorrect, and probably vacuum leak exists after butterfly
