I finally managed to get Pump, Injector and fuel pressure settings from an OEM car. Now i want to remap it so that it runs only on DI for now. But now suddenly at 4800 rpm the inj duty cycle goes from 50% to 100% and the EOI drifts away to much. I attached my log and my map. Thank you
Okay thank you, that narrows it down a bit. Do you have any clues about where I could start looking? Is it a symptom of too much pressure (wrong fuel sensor settiung)? Or maybe wrong PID or dead time?
I would add Rail 1 high pressure pump control duty cycle to the logged channels and see what is going on there. Best to keep an eye on the lambda.
Also your supply pump pressure drops a bit as well. Your fuel pressure sensor calibration starts at 250 (may not be wrong) but you might want to confirm your supply pressure is what you think it is.
As @bravo685 noticed, the high-pressure value is decreasing. However, with the High pressure pumps Control Pump 1 value equal to 100% and the Pump 1 Delivery angle equal to 90 degrees, the pressure should increase rather than decrease.
In my opinion, this indicates an incorrect First Lobe TDC Angle Offset setting. Please double-check this value.
I see the error ‘Over margin pressure protection’ active and the pump angle drops to 0.0 then instead of returning to 75deg ish it goes straight to 90 deg and holds. Would need @mkowalik_ECUMASTER for input on this one.
First, as @bravo685 noticed, the overpressure protection activates because the pressure suddenly starts to rise between 12:11.020 and 12:11.060. The reason for this pressure increase is currently unknown. IMHO, understanding what causes this sudden rise would be very helpful.
Second, after the pressure drops to 290 bar, the control is engaged again, and the PID controller tries to bring the pressure back to the 350 bar target. This results in a 100% control value, which corresponds to a 90° delivery angle.
At this point, the system behaves the same way as it did before the fix. IMHO, this indicates that the First Lobe TDC Offset is still slightly incorrect. I would adjust it a little further in the same direction as before.
not now. didn’t have time to investigate further. I remember things going better when I still use the old HPFP (Gen3) setting, especially the displacement per lob.
I need to check the displacement on the Gen 4 HPFP.
