I could not get my 2ZZ motor to run with V3 so I downgraded to V2 and reloaded my working .emub project file. Everything works but now the ECM renamed itself to “default”. How do I change it ???
Are you sure ? The directory Default is used when no ECU is connected.
If you go to the My documents/EMU BLACK/ directory there is a file devices.xml.
It connects the device serial number with the device name.
You can delete this file if you have only one ECU and it will ask about device name again at the first connection. Or you can just edit the file.

Thank you for your help. The issue only happened immediately after I updated the firmware from v3 back to v2 and it went away after I power cycled the car. I could not recreate the issue after I posted this. I appreciate your help and now have renamed the ECU by editing devices.xml file.
How you make downgrade to V2? I’m trying to make downgrade but it shows me window with upgrade only option
Is there a specific reason why you want to downgrade?
Just execute EMU BLACK V2 client and it will ask for downgrade.
