ECU "State" never leaves "INACTIVE" when temperature below 40F

Hi… rather odd issue here.

Car is fully tuned and starts/runs excellent until temperature outside drops below 40F… then ecu nevers enters a cranking or running state…

There are no protections that would affect this that I can see and otherwise this car is fully tuned and runs great.

State descriptions from the manual…

Bump… still can’t solve this.

Disable cruise control and try

Not enabled. I just verified the tune and the log.

There are 4 possibilites:

  1. Cruise control is enabled
  2. DSG is enabled
  3. Your stall engine RPM are set wrong in Cranking parameters
  4. Your engine RPM are too low when the engine is cold to trigger the crank sensor

OK will try playing with these values.

The current settings are 300 cranking threshold, and 200 engine stall. I assumed engine stall would not be applied unless the engine state was “running”?

Set engine stall to 60 as it is default.
It is your problem.
