I’m setting up an EMU Black with a 60-2 primary crank trigger and a single-tooth camshaft trigger for full sync (sequential ignition/injection).
Current setup:

Primary trigger: 60-2

Trigger angle: 114°
-
Secondary trigger: camshaft, 1 tooth

On the trigger scope, the cam pulse appears after crank tooth ~26 (counted from the missing-tooth gap).
My question is:
How should the EMU Black be configured so it correctly understands when the engine is at TDC cylinder #1?
Is there anything else that needs to be set besides trigger angle and cam phase to correctly define TDC cyl #1?
I have a clean trigger scope capture and stable signals.

Hi…take ur current setup, crank and check with timing lamp if it is correct.
Maybe u need to invert phase if it only is running in wasted spark mode.
What current setup? tomorrow I will try enable the cam sync in 26 -28 tooth window and see what happens.

I have about same settings 60-2 primary with TDC and secondary at 84° (14 tooth) btdc. My problem is I adjust tooth and angle with ignition locked to 0 degrees and seen 0 degrees with help of light gun. As soon as I lock on 10° i found 20° with light and at locked 20° is actually 30° I use twin coil wasted spark and need sequential injection.
So, I got back on this issue and I figured out some details. Cam sync tooth is located 87 tooth after tooth nr #0. If I let the ECU configured only with primary trigger (with cam sync disabled) in the log I get the values CAM sync trigger tooth 87, and CAM1 angle (in degrees) -526 (negative value). I tried to use on secondary trigger “advanced filter” and for trigger tooth I set the value of 26, 86, 87, 60, 120 nothing seems to work. when I enable secondary trigger I only get RPM and no engine start, no sync, in injector pulse and no spark.
