Ive been stuggling for a little while with coms to the ecu dropping out to my laptop.
Last time i pulled the cable out the ecu the actual port came off the board.
Taken it to a local electronics repair shop but he doesnt have the correct type of socket to replace it with.
Long shot but does anyone know where i can source the correct usb c port to get re soldered on the board.

What version of Black is this v1 or v2?
strange that the USB C port is damaged.
V2. Ive been have intermittent coms for a week or so but put it down to the cable until the replacment arrived and i swapped it and the coms port came out with the cable
oh no… the c was maybe supposed to be faster comms and also to avoid this exact problem of soft ports
Its frustrating as i had pretty much finished the car ready for tunning, but now this just want to get it fix as the ecu is brilliant. But id rather not pay out for a replacment just for a coms port.
from what I understand there is two possible options.
you can contact your seller to help you fix this port. which will then be sent to poland HQ for repair most likely.
or you can contact tech support from ECUMaster. TECH@ECUMASTER.COM
They will replace only the port. so no ecu replacement, just the comms port.
