Emu classic only reading 8-9V, when harness has 12.4V

As the title states I’m having an issue with my emu classic paired to a 2JZ-GE non vvti pnp adapter.

I am able to connect to the ecu under K.O.E.O, but as soon as I activate the starter or the fuel pump the ecu disconnects and often wont connect unless the battery is fully disconnected and reconnected. Its also reading a randomly spiking voltage of 8.2-9.1V even though when unplugged and checked with the multimeter i see 12.4 at the ecu power pin. I am trying to get my car to start and am at a total loss right now unfortunately.

Hi

Either ur ECU or ur wiring is bad. I think more likely is the wiring. If u measure 12V without load bit doesnt mean anything. U should deeply check ur 12V supplay and ground wires.

Thanks for the info, I’m planning on voltage drop testing all my grounds. And looking for any loose connections today, so I will update as I go
